Kapuskasing's annual summer time fishing spectacle, the Kap River Walleye Tournament (KRWT), saw new records forged, as the tournament witnessed immense participation over the Aug. 11 weekend.

The Kapuskasing Public Library and Kap and District Chamber of Commerce launched a new contest that tasks members of the community with taking photos that showcase the region's natural beauty.
