The Kapuskasing Dance Project's (KDP) travelling team, the KDP Elite recently attended the Embrace Dance Competition and Convention in North Bay where they secured triumphant results, claiming a large variety of awards and recognition.

Running for Chocolate

Cité des Jeunes' Club de course hosted the school's second annual Chocolate Fun Run event on April 29, seeing a successful turnout as over 70 registrants participated despite the morning's chilly temperatures.

The numbers are in and this year's Kap Year End Classic event raised nearly $34,000 that was split evenly amongst three organizations, Animal Rescue Kapuskasing (ARK), the Kap Aquatic Facility, and the Kap Nordic Ski Club. Spreading the wealth…

The numbers are in and the cheques distributed as this year's annual fundraising tournament, the Kapuskasing 2017 Year End Classic raised nearly $34,000 that was split three ways amongst Animal Rescue Kapuskasing, the Kapuskasing Nordic Ski Club, and the Kapuskasing Aquatic Facility on April 21.

Kapuskasing and the Centre de Loisirs helped to “Cultivate the Great Claybelt” through the hosting of an agricultural symposium on March 30, and 31.

The first place winners in each category of the Legion's Public Speaking competition held on March 7. They will be heading to the Zone competition in Hearst on March 25.
