Jerry Agar, Toronto Sun

Jerry Agar is the 9 am to Noon host on Canada's largest talk radio station, Newstalk1010 (formerly CFRB) Toronto. He grew up in Gilbert Plains, Manitoba and started his radio career as an all-night DJ in Dauphin, Manitoba. He married an American and moved to the United States where he started his talk radio career in 2000 with a show in Raleigh, North Carolina. From there he went to KMBZ in Kansas City and then to Chicago, where he worked on WLS in the morning, while doing an evening show for WABC in New York from studios in Chicago. He was a writer for a think tank, The Illinois Policy Institute. He now does a weekly column for the Toronto Sun and occasionally appears as a commentator on current affairs on various TV shows.
