Northern Ontario Party announces candidate

 The Northern Ontario Party has announced the first-ever Mushkegowuk–James Bay Riding candidate for the June 7th,2018 provincial election to be Jacques Ouellette. 


Ouellette strongly stands for equality in Northern Ontario and is well known for his campaign for keeping Hydro in public hands.
“We are very honoured and proud to have Jacques Ouellette represent the party,” said Party Leader Trevor Holliday.” 
Jacques  is now the 6th NOP Candidate that is officially announced and confirmed alongside: Tommy Lee- Algoma-Manitoulin Riding, Trevor Holliday– Nipissing Riding. Andy Wolff–Thunder Bay–Superior North, Shawn Poirier-Timiskaming-Cochrane and, Gary Schaap–Timmins
Ouellette was born in Geraldton, and has lived in Hearst for 25 years. He has three children who are currently living in the riding, along with most of his other relatives who he routinely visits.
He joins Andre Robichaud of the Ontario PC’s, Gaetan Baillargeon of the Ontario Liberals and the Ontario New Democrats Guy Bourgouin.
