KAPUSKASING - The Kapuskasing Public Library will be a hot bed of activity this March Break for youth and families, as the Library's Teen Advisory Group will be hosting a wide variety of events and activities to participate in over the March Break week beginning March 12 to the 17.

Leading the activities will be Charlie Sylvain and Justin Francoeur.

“They are involved in all of our activities,” said Library Services representative Johane F. Kosowan. “ Both of our students on the Teen Advisory Group are going to be involved with the March break activities.”

The week kicks off with a Search and Find event held on March 12.

“The search and find is an activity to research and learn how to use the computer to search up books,” said Charlie Sylvain.”

“It's like a scavenger hunt, but at the same time an educational tool as they learn how to use the library,” Kosowan said. “So its an amazing hands on experience where they have to find books about animals, and they have a bunch of questions to answer.”

Sylvain said that other activities taking place during the week include arts and crafts, Lego Club, Robotics, draws, and Story and Craft Hour.

All activities are free to participate in, and Kosowon said no registration required.

“No registration required, its open to members, non members, its open for everyone.
