Kapuskasing hosts annual Caisse Populaire Tournament

 KAPUSKASING - The model town was host to a number of guests this weekend as the annual Caisse Populaire Hockey tournament was held March 9-11 at the Sports Palace. 

 

The tournament brought in teams from all across the region to participate in a weekend of hockey that featured Atom and Peewee teams. 
 
Taking the top spots in this year's tournament was the Hornepayne Bears in the Atom Division winning the gold medals, with the Dubreuilville Atomics claiming the silver.
 
In the Peewee Division, the Dubreuilville Bobcats finished first, with the narrowly defeatedHearst Atlantic Power team winning the silver medals.
