Recently, Kapuskasing members of the Youth Bowling Council attended YBC Goldbelt 4-step Zone Tournaments held in Kapuskasing, Timmins, and Cochrane and met with great success.

“I’m very pleased and proud that we won medals at all levels and are going to the provincials,” said local YBC Coordinator, Lorraine Peters.

The provincials will take place March 4-5 in North Bay. Should the local bowlers win in their respective divisions there, they will head the national championship in Saskatoon.

“I’d like to thank everyone who has been a part of our success,” said Peters. “I couldn’t take care of all of this alone, so I’m very grateful.”
