Flyers blank Cubs, Wolves on horizon

 The Kapuskasing Eastview Chev RV Flyers took a decisive win this past weekend over the New Liskeard Cubs and currently sit third in the Great North Midget League standings.

 

On Friday, the Flyers thumped the Cubs to the tune of a 5-0 win, with Martin Poisson taking the lead when it came to scoring, picking up a pair of goals.
Sebastien Plamondon was between the pipes for the Flyers victory.
 
This weekend, the Flyers will return home for a one-off game against the Sudbury Minor Midget Wolves on Saturday night. Game time is 7:30 pm at the Kap RCC.
 
The Flyers currently sit third in the GNML Major Midget standings with a 5-6 record and 11 points, while the Minor Wolves sit second in the Minor Midget standings with a 2-1 record with four points.
