A heartbroken young Turkish man has shot himself dead -- live on Facebook.

According to the U.K. Sun, Erdogan Ceren told people watching his life ebb before their eyes to “watch this” before pulling the shotgun trigger.

Ceren, 22, told viewers that he’s committing suicide because his girlfriend had split up with him.

Sitting bare-chested in his room and clutching the gun: “No one believed when I said I will kill myself – so watch this.”

About 37 seconds into the four-minute clip, the gun explodes and the screen goes black. Relatives told Turkish website bugununhaberi.com that he died later in hospital.

Erdogan wrote on Facebook before he died: “Our love saga would be written, ‘Behold, the eyes would not cry, half of you is going to tell you now, my hands do without that side’.”

The Sun reports that last month, clearly falling into despair, he wrote on the social media site: “And now he passed away in peace. Why do you think spring is in the middle of ice. Just shut up and smiled at him, I gave a lesson

“That’s why darkness. Forgive me, girl.”

The clip led to 12,000 comments and 4,000 shares.
