Late-night talk show host Stephen Colbert, who’s used to making Canada the butt of his jokes, has once again targeted denizens north of the border – Alberta’s grizzly bears.

In a segment of The Report that aired Friday known as the ThreatDown, Colbert pokes fun at grizzlies scratching themselves on a solitary tree in Alberta’s Kananaskis Country that was captured in an Alberta Parks clip.

In his countdown of the “threats to America,” Colbert airs a version of the clip with the bears scratching themselves to the song Cherry Pie by Warrant, outing the “stripper bears” as the number one threat to America.

"These godless twerking machines are turning our forests into their very own episode of Grizz Gone Wild," Colbert says.
