Giroux's 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament goes this Saturday 0

Claude Giroux is coming home this weekend, as he returns to his native Hearst to host the 4th Annual Claude Giroux Charity Golf Tournament, to benefit KidSport/Jumpstart.

The tournament will follow a "Four Man Best Ball" format with a shotgun start. Start times are 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. and preference must be stated upon registration.

The cost is $160 per team, which includes the nine-hole tournament and a supper under the Rotary Club tent. Tickets for the supper only are also available at a cost of $18 per person and includes entrance to the Rotary tent.

Activities under the Rotary tent will include, a gift table, an auction (6 p.m.) and music with Denis Ayotte (8 p.m.).

Giroux will not be available to sign autographs during the day, but will sign items purchased under the tent that night.

Registration can be completed in two ways, either by dialing 705-372-2828 and leaving a voicemail or by emailing kidsporthearst@yahoo.ca. Spaces are limited and will only by guaranteed with full payment.
